5 D.I.Y. Christmas Gifts

5diy2One of my favorite parts of Christmas is gift giving. I love being able to show my love and appreciation for friends and family in the form of a present. Here are five D.I.Y. gift ideas that are simple, sweet and perfect for a shopper on a budget. Most of these items only require a quick trip to the craft store, grocery mart or a thrift shop to complete, so you don’t have to worry about burning a hold in your pocket. Check out the links below to see full directions.

1.Personalized Literary Quote Mugs - I love the literature quotes, but drawings and geometric designs could be a fun alternative.

2. Handcrafted Cookie Mix Bag - Another great rendition of these bagged goodies — hot chocolate, marshmallows and Baileys!

3. Spray Painted Neon Silverware - These would also look sleek with gold and chrome colored spray paint.

4. Yarn Ball Bookmarks - Perfect for stocking stuffers — personalize these with a photo or hand written note.

5. Holiday Reindeer Cupcakes - Rudolph on a cupcake (cookie or giant cake)? I approve.

  1. Oh I love these ideas! I am definitely a fan of making gifts rather than buying… it shows thoughtfulness and that you put extra time and effort into it. Plus you can rest assured you are giving something original that someone else won’t get them! Thanks for the ideas :)

  2. Howdy! This post couldn’t be written any better!
Reading this post reminds me of my good old room mate!
He always kept talking about this. I will forward this page to him.

Fairly certain he will have a good read. Many thanks for sharing!
